Caroline's 1st Thanksgiving!

I know I have been a horrible blogger, SORRY! Caroline fully ENJOYED her 1st Thanksgiving! She ate dressing, sweet potato casserole, broccoli and rice casserole, 2 roles, cranberry jelly, spinach casserole and some meringue off a pie! She was Miss Piggy! So thankful for my 2 beautiful, healthy girls and husband. We had a great time in the woods with both sets of grandparents. Very small crowd but a wonderful day!

Our Summer...Busy, Busy, Busy!

We have been super busy this summer! We went to Dog Island, FL with some good friends of ours from Tunica. We went to Hot Springs for a weekend with Glenn and fam. We of course have been to Ward Lake and seen lots of animals, hope we see them when it gets cold! Georgia has spent a lot of time at MawMaw's in Dublin, she loves visiting and riding her bike up and down the street! Poor country girl gets a kick out of visiting!! We also, got a new puppy and Georgia has been very good at helping take care of him! I am ready for school to start so we can get a rountine and back on schedule!

So sweet!! We had a great time at the beach with our good friends from the "Nut House"!

May 31st Caroline was christened! She did wonderful. Mr. Gleason got her good! She was a complete angel!! Afterwards she slept on the pew the entire service. She needed to sleep because we had a crew at our house for lunch. She was of course the center of attention and got lots of lovin'! Here she is with her Godfather and Godmother, two VERY special people!

I don't know what I was thinking but I didn't get hardly any other pictures! I didn't even get a picture of the wonderful Mrs. Chow cake that was devoured!! I was so tired from getting everything ready that I was glad for the day to be here!! We had a great time and are so thankful for such wonderful family and friends!

I know I just told everyone about our cute little Otis, but yesterday he had a seizure due to a birth defect where he has major swelling in his brain and would never be fully functional. So, this morning Georgia and I went to Helena to the vet to say good-bye. Poor Otis was ready to feel better, he was just wimpering and not feeling good at all! He had gotten used to us and developed his own little personality. The other night Caroline was crying and when I got to her he was laying next to her carrier. He was really sweet and great with both the girls. Georgia is ok and we are looking for a puppy maybe midsummer, but right now I can't handle another heartache! Keep us in your prayers.

These kids were NASTY and having the time of their lives!! Jackie and Glenn came to Ward Lake Saturday of Mother's Day weekend and while were waiting on the rest of our crew to arrive Nicole, Georgia, Patrick and Bethany made a mud slide down the hill to the back yard at the cabin! They were disgusting! This was before we went riddin'. Needless to say when we got back from ridding they had to strip at the front door and go straight to the shower!

Here is Gerogia with our newest family member!! I had to wait a week until I posted any info, we had a tramatic Mother's Day with this little guy's brother. I wasn't looking for a puppy but there was a Tradewinds at Mama's house and I was flipping through it the Friday before Mother's Day. There was the ad for a Pembroke Welsh Corgi!(with a CHEAP price) So I called Nana and asked here what she thought, she said I had to talk to JD first! Well, I called the number in the ad and got all the info and said he would email me the pics! He had 2 males left. Also, he was located in Columbus. Perfect for us because Nana and Grumps happened to be in West Point for the weekend!! Georgia and had our plan worked out to talk to JD and she did so good executing it perfectly!! JD agreed and Georgia convinced Grumps to pick up her puppy before he came home on Sunday. We went to Wal-Mart got all our new puppy stuff and couldn't wait for him to get home. Georgia was absolutely ecstatic! Nana and Grumps show up with our puppy and he is so sweet and precious. I left shortly after and left G and puppy with JD. Georgia was having a great time showing him around and playing with him. When I got home he was in the kennel and everyone was napping, a little later Georgia brings him to me and says there is blood on his mouth. I told her oh he is fine! She took him to JD and he comes back to the bedroom, where I was getting my Mother's Day nap, and asked what we did to the puppy! He was unconscious and barely breathing!! My brother stays with Georgia and JD and fly to town calling Dr. Grant the whole way but before we made it to town he quit breathing. I didn't know how we were fixing to break this to Georgia. We got home and as soon as I walked in G is standing there, asked where her puppy was. My heart broke in a million pieces for my sweet angel! I told her he went to Heaven and she immediately fell to pieces! We went to the back yard and buried our puppy and put roses on his grave and Magnolia blooms, it was so sad. After all that we lay down and I am trying to calm her down, she confesses she dropped him on the concrete under the carport, she thinks it is all her fault and she killed him. I reassured her she didn't do it and everything was going to be ok. JD is listening to this on the baby monitor in the kitchen. Before this we had no idea what might have happened to him. We know this surely was not good for the puppy but we also think he may have had an allergic reaction to the worm medicine he got before we got him. We don't know exactly. SOOO you guessed it we got the male that was left! We met the owner in Starkville on Wednesday, G had no idea she thought we were just going to see Blair and he new baby(I will post pics later). She was absolutely speachless!! It was so much fun to surprise with such a great gift!! He was the runt but he is adjusted well and got a great little attitude! Of course we had drama with him as well! Never a dull moment anymore. Thursday we were leaving Nana's and I was talking to her and didn't realize G had walked out the door with puppy in hand and yes she dropped this one too!! Nana said she didn't think there was any reason to rush to town he was just limp, eyes rolled back in his head, but he was breathing ok. So I fly to town again and praying the whole way to save this puppy plus my gas light had been on for probably 10 miles already and here I was going 100 to town I just knew I wasn't going to make it! Dr. Grant checked him out and said he was ok just probably had a concusion and all we could do was put and ice pack on it and see what happened! We are doing great and Georgia has been threatened with an inch of her life not to pick up the puppy! Both puppies got the name Otis!

2 Month Check Up

Our check up went well today!! Caroline now weighs 10lbs 6ozs and is 23 1/2 inches long. Dr. Well's was very pleased with her progress and says she is very strong and independent! She even showed Dr. Well's how she can roll over! Bless her heart when she got her shots she was asleep and she had to get woken up with a needle being stuck in her leg! She did really good though, as soon as they were through sticking her she quit crying! She also had to take some kind of drops and she sucked those down! I have another druggie on my hands, she has loved taking her Tylenol every 4 hours! Georgia had her first t-ball game last night and they were so funny! Everyone had a GREAT time and lots of fun!!

This picture will be treasured forever because of the story behind it!! Sweet, innocent Caroline was being so good taking a nap in her carseat on top of the dryer when our devilish big sister decided to find a paint can, stand on it to reach her baby sis and decorate her with Easter stickers! Sweet angel slept through the whole ordeal and never knew she had been decorated like an Easter egg!

Just wanted you to see how strong Caroline is getting!! She is growing so fast. Georgia is learning the mean life lesson of having a sibling! Unfortunately it is hitting us hard! She is having to learn to share Mama and Daddy along with Grumps and Nana. Not too sure about the whole sister thing anymore. She is still sweet to her and a big help but she is acting out and fighting for attention. Pray it gets better fast or JD is going to have one less daughter!

4 Weeks!

Well, we have made it a month! It is so hard to believe she has been here that long. She has changed so much. She is drinking 4 ounces at a time and on a 4 hour schedule. She LOVES her swing. I know its not good to let them sleep there all the time but I get so much done when she is swinging!! Georgia is doing good with her. Definitely have times of jealousy!

In the past 2 weeks we made our first trip to Ward Lake! She slept in the recliner the whole time!

It is so hard to believe that on Monday Caroline was 2 weeks old!! We went to Dr. Well's yesterday and she has grown so much since we came home. She has grown an inch and gained 51/2 ounces! The BEST big sister in the world!

Monday, March 2, 2009 at 1:28 pm Caroline O'Neil Dulaney made her debut! She weighed 8lbs 6ozs and is 20 inches long. She has a head full of red hair and is absolutely the most beautiful little miracle. Her sister is so excited she is finally here! We are so thankful for being so blessed.

It Snowed!!!

Thanks to Mrs. Johnson and Ms. Margaret every little K3 person from Lee was thrilled this morning!! They have been talking about snow and it finally got here! Unfortunately we don't have "snow" clothes and that was a BIG issue!! So we settled with blue jeans and boots so we wouldn't miss the snow! Georgia wouldn't even eat breakfast before she went out. She comes in to warm her hands and then back out she goes!

Update on Caroline before I get in any more trouble!! She is happy right where she is! There is absolutely no progress so we are still on for March 9th at 7:30 in the morning. Nana is going to have G in Memphis the night before and we will be too because I have to be there at 5:30! Georgia is getting so excited, we have a countdown going! Wednesday I go for one more appointment before the big day! They will do one more ultrasound to see how she is doing and get a better idea of how big she might really be. Also, they will hook me up to the monitor to make sure her heart is beating like it is supposed to and she is ready! The doctor has been concerned about all the fluid I am retaining but all blood test have come back normal, I just have to take it as easy as I can. Sue Mama looked lots better Wednesday when I saw her. I was so thankful, thank you to everyone who has been praying for her. We have a long road ahead of us and every day brings something different. Please keep praying! We are ready for her to get to a room so all the kids can go see her. I know Georgia is anxious to see her! We have Georgia in her new room and Caroline's room is almost ready! We are going to make the deadline! Georgia went to the Gin Show with her Daddy today and I am going to straighten the playroom!! Not much longer and we will have our new addition!

Just doing some catching up! Georgia has now been on her very first hog hunt!! She had a blast and we had no trouble getting her to bed! She got to go with all her cousins, Parker, Tripp, Anne Hollis, Taylor Allen and Hayes! They all were soaked and muddy from head to toe! I hate I missed it, but I was not quite ready for Caroline to come and I know all that fun would have convinced her to make an appearance! That would be Uncle Boodie!

Getting Closer

Sorry I didn't let y'all know how the doctor went this past week. My grandmother had heart surgery last week and we have had some complications to deal with. So we have been very busy and back and forth to Memphis! Sue Mama is now doing good, thanks to everyone's prayers. Caroline is just getting bigger and it makes you feel so good that all the doctor can say is your gonna have one hell of a baby!! I go back on the 18th and we will set the definite time for my section on March 9th, if we make it. I have started retaining lots of fluid in my hands and feet so I have been trying to take it easy and keep my feet up. My hands are almost as bad as my feet! Friday afternoon we started on Georgia's room!!! They will be done sheet rocking tomorrow and then JD can get the molding up and we can paint! Hopefully, if things go as planned, we will have her room by next weekend!! Nothing like crunch time!

Caroline Update

Yesterday, the doctor said everything looks good. I go back in 2 weeks as planned! He won't do a section until March 9th. Which bums me out because this is mine and JD's anniversary! Oh well, I wasn't going to wait any longer so that seems to be the day unless she decides to come sooner, only time will tell! We got some cute 4D pics of her! She also already weighs 5lbs and 4ozs with nothing but cheeks!! She and Georgia's 4D pics look a lot alike! She is already so precious, I can't wait to see her in my arms. Georgia had to take a picture to school today to show everybody! She has got to be the proudest big sister I have ever seen. Hope you enjoy the pics. The ultrasound lady said she is in the 76th percentile! Another BIG baby!

Baby Update

Well, we have decided on a name! Caroline O'Neil Dulaney, she has lots of people she is named after! First, knew I wanted to use O'Neil for JD and his grandaddy(Roselyn's daddy) Charles O'Neil. I wanted to keep the initials C.O. becasue this is what people called his grandaddy. Since JD was such good friends with Caroline McMurchy and she was a cousin of mine and sweet friend I came up with Caroline O'Neil. After all this was decided I was reading in a baby name book and found out that Caroline is the female of Charles. I would have never put that together but that is what the book said so needless to say this baby girl has lots of great people she will be named after!

Now, Wednesday I got a little scared. Monday I was 31 weeks, which is so hard to believe and I am so not ready! That afternnoon I was really tired and have been feeling different for several days but I was going to tough it out and hang in there. Tuesday, I worked all day and by lunch my lower back was killing me. I tried everything I could think of to get comfortable, but finally gave up and went home to lay down. I felt much better and on Wednesday told JD I was just going to stay home all morning and do what I needed to from home. My brother picked up Georgia from school becasue I had Directv here!! Well, I told G we would go eat pizza for lunch since JD was at a meeting. I started getting ready and immediately started having back pain and cramps! I calmly called the doctor's office and of course they wanted me there ASAP! So then I get worried, Georgia is acting like a spoiled brat and won't quit whining and crying, I know JD is at a meeting, I text him get nothing back, Roselyn is at an out of town funereal , my mom is at work, so then I just call JD and this point I am crying becasue I am scared and G won't stop crying!!! He is in town so I drop G off and head to Memphis by myself! JD had another meeting in Tunica. A big thanks to the Ross'! They let G come play while JD went to his next meeting and met me in Memphis. By the time he got there, I knew I was indeed having contractions and was going to be admitted for a little while to be monitored a little more, get fluids and some meds to hopefully stop the contractions! We stopped the contractions and then Caroline decided to make things even more interesting. She wouldn't be still so her heartbeat rose and they kept for another hour to see what the deal was. She finally got tired and rested so everything went back to normal and I finally got home about 9 o'clock Wednesday night. So for the time being I am to be resting until this coming Wednesday when I already had an appt and my 4D ultrasound scheduled! Since I have been home resting I have felt much better.

To make thing more interesting we are trying to start remodeling the guest room for G, so Caroline can have G's room. I have 6 weeks to go and really don't see how everything will come together in time but we will see! I will let everyone know how things go at the doctor Wednesday! Keep us in your prayers, Caroline needs to bake for a few more weeks!

Our Christmas Morning!

I know I am aweful, I am just now getting caught up with Christmas blogging. Sorry if some of it ends up out of order! We have so much going on this year with birthdays, Christmas and getting ready for Caroline! It seems every time I make plans to get everyone caught up I have something else to do instead! So this morning I am going to do it since I have been put to bed until at least Wednesday and that is a whole new story I will catch you up on in a minute.

Santa was so good to Georgia and her new sister Caroline! Georgia got a new bike, baby bed and bouncy seat for Bitty Baby and her Daddy's favorite a pink 22 gun! Caroline got a bouncy seat and some baby essentials in her stocking. They both got a flat screen tv with DVD player for their play room! Georgia had lots of fun opening presents for 2 people this year! I hope next year she doesn't get her feelings hurt when Caroline opens her own presents!

We love Arial and I found this Arial doll at Disney World and managed to get it home without her finding it!!

Oh yeah, we had to go to Ward Lake to the rifle range Christmas Day to shoot and have our first lesson on how to handle a gun! JD is so glad she is finally old enough to start shooting her own gun! And according to Georgia she shot a whole family of deer, a daddy, mama and baby!! To only have the imagination of a 3 year old again!

We even have a pink sling that goes on it too, but my crazy pregnant self wrapped it up and put Anne Clark's name on it! Being such a wonderful friend and knowing that I must have gotten her a great present actually did research on it to figure out what it might be! I finally got a hold of her and told her what had happened!!

Sorry it has been a while! First of all my baby turned 4 last Saturday, January 10th! She had a great party at McDonald's with tons of friends. They all had a ball. Thanks to everyone who came and made her day so special! We love you Georgia!

Christmas 08

We all had a wonderful Christmas! When I download my pics I will post some but until then I will let you know how it was. Georgia got LOTS of stuff! We started with Christmas Eve at Wayne and Leah's after church, the kids had a great time. We got home and fed the reindeer and we even saw Rudolph's nose in the sky!!! hahaha We were quick to bed so Santa wouldn't skip our house! She did wake up early but only to snuggle with her Mama! We didn't wake up til about 8 and were in awe at our Santa gifts. He left a bike, a crib and bouncy seat for Bitty Baby and get ready, a pink 22 gun! I don't know who liked it more, Georgia or JD! We had to go to Ward Lake to "shot some deer." Miraculously we got a mama, baby and Daddy, the best hunt all year! It took all day to open our presents because we had to play with everything as we opened it! Santa even left stuff for Caroline! She got a bouncy seat and some clothes and a stocking full of cool baby essentials! Also, Georgia and Caroline got a flat screen tv with a DVD player for their play room!! I think Georgia has figured out how to work it better than us. Everyone has crashed and I am ready to get my house back! Merry Christmas to All!!

Baby Update

We went to the doctor on Monday for a checkup. I passed my glucose test!!! Blood pressure was WAY down! All great news. I go back in a month and then I will start going every 2 weeks. I can't believe we only have about 10 more weeks! I am SOOO not ready. This coming Monday I will be 29 weeks!

We Made It Home

We survived Disney World!! The last day was kinda slow. We finished Epcot and attempted Animal Kingdom. That night we went to the parade and fireworks at Magic Kingdom! Animal Kingdom was ok, it seemed more crowded than the other parks but it is also set up with narrower walkways so it seemed to be more crowded. Georgia also was not cooperating! She NEVER wants to ride in a buggie or stroller anywhere we go so we didn't bother with it at Disney World. Well, by the time we made it to Animal Kingdom she was BEGGING for a stroller!! So we gladly rented one but she didn't want to get out of it for nothing! We had several meltdowns and finally gave up and went to the room for a nap! Slept 2 and a half hours and was ready for the parade!! Absolutely loved it. Snow White shook her hand and of course we have a picture of it but I don't have those pics downloaded yet so hopefully I will have some time tonite or in the morning to download pics and I will post them!

Walt Disney World

Well today was busy, but we have called it an early night! We went to Magic Kingdom to finish up and of course Georgia had to ride Splash Mountain again and AGAIN!! Would have done it another time but she got in trouble by the guy in charge for standing up in the boat!! I have a feeling we will probably have to ride it again when we go for the Wishes Parade tomorrow night! We got to see Crush today at Epcot and he talked to Georgia and the parentals! She LOVED that!

I got to ride a kiddie ride with Georgia first thing this morning! We rode the Flying Dumbos!

Georgia HAD to have one of the huge lollipops that seem to be everlasting, but she really did do a good job licking it to almost nothing!

Disney Bound

DISNEY BOUND!! Also our first trip on an airplane! Absolutely loved it!

Not 2 hours into our first day and we saw Ashton at Hollywood Studios! This is where we saw Arial and Playhouse Disney!

Here is Pluto at breakfast this morning. Mickey, Lilo and Stitch were also there. Georgia got to parade around with them shaking moroccas!

Georgia LOVED Splash Mountain and is a roller coaster "junkie." She even got to ride Space Mountain. She figured out that little heigth deal, she wasnt' quite tall enough for Space Mt. but we figured we would give it a try, she calmly walked up to the line on her tiptoes so that her forehead hit the sign and they let her through!! LOVES roller coasters!!!!

OH MY GOODNESS IT'S CINDERELLA!!!! Never been more awake or excited in her entire life! Everywhere Cinderella went Georgia had her eyes glued to her! Also, with Cinderella we also got to meet Prince Charming, Stepmother and the step sisters. The step sisters were absolutely hilarious!! The first thing Georgia showed Stepmother was that her dress had Cinderella on it! hahah JD took her back to the room and before I made it back she was in her pj's SOUND asleep! She has had 2 very long and fun filled days. What a trooper though. She has told us it was time for bed both nights!!

So far we are having a ball and even seen John Daho, of all people. JD and Georgia went to get on a roller coaster that I can't ride, and they stood in line together!! That's when you know you know tooo many people! I hope everyone enjoys the pictures, I will TRY to get more on tomorrow night. We are headed to finish Magic Kingdom in the morning and then to Epcot.

Opening Weekend

We had a great opening weekend at Ward Lake. Georgia and Tripp had so much fun Friday night before going to bed! Tripp had deer fever and was still on cloud 9 from the day before when he shot a doe with Grumps!

Wednesday Georgia and I are going to Memphis for a check up. We will let you know how Miss Priss is doing! I know when I get still she gets to moving and stays active for a while!

Thanksgiving at School

K3 and K4 had a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast! Everyone dressed up as Indians with costumes they made all by themselves! Georgia loved eating turkey and pie. A big thank you to the teachers for making it so much fun and so special!

Happy Halloween

Halloween was a blast!! It actually started the day before with a party at school. Everyone wore their costumes to school and were so cute!! Halloween night we headed to town to go trick or treating with the Matthew, Margaret, Pete, Sam, Tyner and Maggie. We all loaded up in the back of the truck and went trick or treating. Everyone had a ball, adults included!! After getting as much candy as we could we all ate dinner at the Downing's house.

IT'S A GIRL!!

Sorry it has taken me all day to get to this, just been a crazy week!! Yes, we are having another girl! Georgia was right all along. She is excited about the news. She didn't quite understand why it was such a big deal since she already knew it was a girl anyway!! The new baby is absolutely perfect. She is already 12 ounces which is on the big side so looks like I will probably be having a section. Not excited about that but we will see what happens. I hope you enjoy her ultrasound pic. She has my nose and looks to have JD's lips, hard to tell she was eating the entire time, just like her Daddy!!! She extremely active but very cooperative. So I am afraid we have another Georgia on our hands!!!

Trip to the Fire Station

Georgia's class visited the fire station today and had a wonderful time! K3 and K4 went together. Everyone got to spray the big water hose and climb into the fire truck. So much fun! This was the first field trip I got to go on with Georgia. It takes very special people to teach our little ones! A BIG thank you to Mrs. Johnson and Ms. Margaret!

Hello to Everyone! I have finally given in to blogging! I am constantly forgetting to send pictueres of Georgia and when I do remember I would always leave someone out! So with a new bundle of joy on the way and life as crazy as already is here is our blog! I am still working on it but I do have one picture of Georgia on it. Keep checking back because I will be working on it and October 30 we will find out what our new baby is going to be! Georgia is determined it is a girl and is already telling everyone that but WE DON'T KNOW YET! I hope everyone enjoys!
